“Wrong-Way Driver” Crash On The Kennedy

There was a Chicago “wrong-way driver” accident on the Kennedy Expressway early Sunday morning, November 16, 2014.

According to the Illinois State Police (ISP), the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-90/94 at approximately 3:50 a.m., as a car was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes near North Avenue.  At that point, the car struck another vehicle.

The “wrong-way driver” as well as the two occupants of the hit vehicle all suffered accident injuries that were considered to be non-life-threatening in nature.  All three people were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

The “wrong-way driver” was charged with driving under the influence.
