The “wrong-way driver” is said to be a 28-year-old woman who was driving her Buick LaCrosse southbound in the northbound lanes of Lake Shore Drive. At about 4:10 a.m., she collided with an Oldsmobile Ciera that was traveling northbound.
The driver of the Ciera, only identified as a 42-year-old male, was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.
