This afternoon, a woman was struck by a vehicle on Chicago’s Kennedy Expressway after she ran onto the expressway.
According to the Illinois State Police, the accident happened around 12:30 p.m. at Pulaski Road near Irving Park (on Chicago’s Northwest Side) in the southbound lanes.
The woman was seriously injured and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
