Woman Dies After Rollover Accident On Eisenhower Expressway (I-290)

A woman died early this morning in a single-vehicle accident on the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290.)

Tynita Bennett, 40, of Maywood, was traveling inbound when her SUV struck both the left and right walls on the inbound I-290 at South Racine Avenue at approximately 3:10 a.m. The SUV then rolled over several times, and during the accident, Bennett was ejected from the vehicle. The medical examiner’s office declared her dead at 3:50 a.m. at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital.
