There was a semi truck accident on the Edens Expressway (Interstate 94) last night (October 18, 2013), in which the truck flipped over into the opposing lanes.
Details on this truck accident and its causes are somewhat limited.
According to the Illinois State Police (ISP), the truck, which was carrying potatoes, hit the center median wall at approximately 9:10 p.m. as it was traveling southbound near Dempster. The semi landed in the northbound lanes, and a four vehicle accident ensued.
Three people, including the semi truck driver, suffered minor injuries.
