Taxis Collide In Lincoln Park And Woman Is Hit On Sidewalk

There was a taxicab accident in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood early Friday morning, injuring three people.

The accident happened after a taxi drove through a red light and hit another cab which then hit a woman on the sidewalk and crashed into a liquor store. The accident happened in the 2400 block of North Ashland Avenue, near the corner of Ashland and West Fullerton shortly after 1:00 a.m.

The 32-year-old male driver of the second cab, a 25-year-old passenger in the first taxi, and the 21-year-old female pedestrian hit on the sidewalk were all taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital in Lake View.
