One Dead Following SUV Rollover On Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90)

A woman was killed Saturday morning during a rollover accident on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90).

According to authorities, the woman has been identified as Kathleen Steele, 51, of Carpentersville, Illinois.

She was traveling east when she apparently lost control of her SUV; the SUV hit the median wall before overturning. The accident happened at approximately 11:30 near Roselle Road, according to the Illinois State Police.

Steele was ejected from the vehicle during the accident; she was not wearing a seatbelt. Steele died at the accident scene.

It is unknown at this time what caused Steele to lose control of her SUV.
