Man Dies On Chicago’s Eisenhower Expressway (I94) After Walking Into Traffic

A man, said to be in his 30s, was struck by a car and killed early this morning on the Dan Ryan Expressway (Interstate 94).

Details are limited at this time.

However, it is being reported that the accident happened around 3 a.m. after the man inexplicably walked into traffic in the southbound lanes at 91st Street. He did not try to avoid oncoming traffic. The man died at the accident scene, according to the Illinois State Police.

The man is currently unidentified as he did not carry identification.
