There was a fatal pedestrian accident Tuesday night (July 11, 2017) in Wilmette.
Details on the accident appear to be somewhat limited at this time.
According to the Wilmette Police Department, the fatal accident occurred at the intersection of Green Bay Road and Linden Avenue at 8:48 p.m. The accident involved a 2004 Toyota Camry striking a 91-year-old man. That man, later identified as Fayvus Naroditskiy, of Wilmette, died after being taken to Evanston Hospital for treatment of his accident injuries.
The driver of the Toyota Camry, a 21-year-old man, was not injured during the collision.

There is no indication that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash, police said.
This fatal pedestrian accident remains under investigation by the Wilmette Police, as well as the Major Crash Assistance Team of the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force.
