An excerpt regarding the pedestrian accident, from the November 10, 2018 Chicago Tribune article titled “Car hits, injures 3 people on sidewalk along Milwaukee Avenue bar strip in Logan Square“:

The 20-year-old driver was fleeing from the scene of a car crash he’d just been in when he lost control of his car, jumped a curb and hit two men and a woman on a sidewalk around 1:50 a.m. in the 2300 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, police said.

Of the three injured pedestrians, a 33-year-old man was taken to Advocate Masonic Medical Center in serious condition, with an injured leg and foot.

A 27-year-old man was also taken to Advocate Masonic Medical Center in serious condition with unspecified injuries.

A 29-year-old woman was taken to Stroger Hospital for medical treatment of a bruised leg.  She was released from the hospital.
