Lake Shore Drive Crash Injures Two People

There was a three-car crash on Chicago’s Lake Shore Drive Saturday evening, January 24, 2015.

According to the Chicago Police Department, the accident happened at approximately 10:50 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Lake Shore Drive.

The accident happened as a Jeep Liberty, heading northbound, “sideswiped” two other vehicles and then struck a traffic signal pole.

There was no reason given for the Jeep’s loss of control.

Two people were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment of accident injuries.

Citations are pending for the Jeep’s driver, a 28-year-old man, Greer said.
