There was a fatal car accident early this morning (Sunday, December 4, 2016) on the Dan Ryan Expressway on Chicago’s South Side. Two drivers died as a result of the collision.
According to crash investigation information provided by the Illinois State Police, the accident happened shortly after 3:00 a.m., in the outbound “express” lanes of I-90/94, near 47th Street. At that time, one vehicle “rear-ended” another vehicle that was sitting on the shoulder.
