The collision happened as a garbage truck was traveling north on Harlem, and apparently “ran over” a car traveling east on Harrison Street. The accident happened at approximately 12:40 p.m., according to Glenview Police.
A large fire followed the collision.
The three occupants of the car were killed, and the driver of the garbage truck was uninjured.
The accident remains under investigation. No charges or citations have been issued in connection with the accident.
