Fatal Car Rollover Accident In Manhattan, Illinois

There was a fatal rollover car accident early this morning (December 28, 2013) in Manhattan, Illinois.

According to the Illinois State Police (ISP), the car accident happened sometime shortly after 3:00 a.m. near Route 52 and Cedar Road, after a SUV left the roadway and rolled over several times. During the accident, the driver was ejected. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the vehicle accident.

Brian J. Affrunti, 31, was taken to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, where he was pronounced dead at 3:44 a.m., according to the Will County coroner’s office.

This fatal car accident remains under investigation.
