There was a pedestrian accident in Winnetka, Illinois on Friday night (October 31, 2014) in which a 3-year-old boy was struck by a car as he was out trick-or-treating.
According to the Winnetka Police Department, the accident happened in the 1400 block of Asbury Avenue at approximately 5:52 p.m., as the boy ran into the street.
The boy was taken to Northshore Evanston Hospital for treatment of his accident injuries, and was reported to be in good condition.
The driver of the car was identified as a 24-year-old woman from Winnetka.
This accident remains under investigation. No citations have been issued.
