There was a “wrong-way driver” accident on the Bishop Ford Expressway early Saturday (November 7, 2015) morning.
According to the Illinois State Police (ISP) the accident happened at approximately 2:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes near 157th Street.
An excerpt from the November 7, 2015 NBC Chicago article (with video) titled “4-Car Wrong-Way Crash on Bishop Ford Leaves 6 Injured“:
At about 2:30 a.m., a 22-year-old man was driving north in the southbound lanes of the expressway near 157th Street, according to Illinois State Police Sgt. Dominic Falcone. The car hit a total of three other vehicles, including one that had a 35-year-old woman and two teenage boys inside.
Among the six people injured included a 16-year-old boy, a 22-year-old woman, and 43-year-old woman.
This “wrong-way” accident remains under investigation.
