There was a hit & run accident Friday (April 3, 2015) in which a bicyclist was injured in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood.
According to Chicago Police, the accident happened at approximately 1:00 p.m. Friday, and involved a SUV that collided with a man riding on a motorized bicycle in the 1600-block of North Talman Avenue. After the collision, the SUV fled the accident scene.
The collision was captured on a security camera. The SUV is being described as a four-door GMC or Chevrolet with a shattered rear passenger window, as well as damage to the rear passenger door.
The bicyclist was identified as Ricardo Capistran, 26, of Chicago. He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center for treatment of his accident injuries.

Capistran was critically injured and has a fractured skull and other broken bones, a collapsed lung, and a possible brain injury. He remains in the intensive care unit on a respirator.
