A rollover accident on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago has left 3 people seriously injured this morning.
One of the injured included a 1 year old girl. According to the Chicago Fire Department, the car accident happened shortly before 10 a.m. when a minivan hit a Ford Explorer on LSD near Balbo and flipped over.
The minivan was heading northbound when the driver attempted to make a left turn and struck the Explorer, which was heading southbound.
Also injured were a 25-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, both occupants of the Explorer. They were taken in serious-to-critical condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The 1-year-old girl was taken to Children’s Memorial Hospital where she was now listed as in good condition, according to Police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli.
The driver of the minivan refused treatment, he said.
