According to Chicago Police, the accident happened at 10:38 p.m., as a man riding a bicycle west on Division was struck by a Chevrolet Cruze that was northbound on Sacramento.
The bicyclist was taken to Stroger Hospital, and was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Cruze, a 36-year-old man, was not injured.
At this time no citations have been issued with regard to the fatal collision.
The crash is being investigated by the Chicago Police Major Accidents Investigation Unit.
