There was a four-car crash Wednesday evening (February 24, 2016) in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.
According to a preliminary investigation by Chicago Police, the accident happened at approximately 10:25 p.m., at the intersection of Wells and Ohio. The crash happened after one vehicle “ran a red light.”
One car may have run into a building as a result of the crash, and a streetlight was also hit, causing it to fall.
Five people were taken to area hospitals for treatment of their accident injuries. The injuries were described as being “minor” in severity.
