There was a fatal bicycle accident Monday morning (October 26, 2015) in West Humboldt Park.
Details regarding the accident – especially its causes – appear limited at this time.
According to Chicago Police, the accident happened at 9:50 a.m. at the intersection of Kolin Avenue and LeMoyne Street.
The bicyclist, identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office as Enrique Zamora, 60, of Portage Park, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later was pronounced dead.
The accident remains under investigation by the Chicago Police Major Accidents Investigation Unit.
