A 5-year-old girl was fatally struck by a car in Hoffman Estates yesterday, June 13, 2015.
Details regarding this accident, and especially its causes, appear limited at this time.
According to Hoffman Estates Police, the accident happened at 12:27 p.m. on West Thacker Street, east of Illinois Boulevard.
The girl was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office as Aleeza Haq, 5, of Glendale Heights.
She was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where she was later pronounced dead.
This fatal accident remains under investigation by the Hoffman Estates Police Department.
