There was a fatal vehicle collision early this morning (August 19, 2014) in an unincorporated part of Kendall County.
According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at approximately 6:15 a.m., when a pickup truck traveling southbound on Fox River Drive, near Crimmin Road, for an unknown reason crossed into the northbound lanes. In doing so, it collided “head-on” with a Chevrolet Avalanche.
The driver of the pickup, identified as Raymond Boudreau, Jr., 56, of Plano, Texas, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the Chevy Avalanche, a 48-year-old woman, was taken to Valley West Hospital in Sandwich with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
