“Wrong-Way Driver” Crash On Chicago Skyway

There was a “wrong-way driver” accident early this morning on the Chicago Skyway which led to two people being injured.

According to Chicago Police, this “wrong-way driver” accident happened at approximately 1:30 a.m., as a woman was driving a black Infiniti northbound in the southbound lanes. She then crashed into a semi truck near 76th Street.


Both the woman driving the Infiniti and the truck driver were taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The injuries were not considered to be “life-threatening” in nature.

According to authorities, DUI charges have been filed against the woman driving the Infinity.
