Two people are dead and four seriously injured after a two-car collision in the Jefferson Park neighborhood on Chicago’s Northwest Side this morning.
Details of the accident appear limited at this time. According to officials, the six victims included three children and three adults. One of the cars smashed into a pole.
The accident occurred around 8 a.m. in the 4400 block of North Austin.
According to officials, two victims were taken in serious to critical condition to Children’s Memorial Hospital; four others, consisting of three adults and a child, were taken to Lutheran General Hospital. Two of those people were those that died.
