There was a fatal car accident on Lake Shore Drive early this morning (November 29, 2013).
According to the Chicago Fire Department, emergency personnel responded to the accident at approximately 5:00 a.m. The car accident happened near Lawrence Avenue.
The accident happened as a car in the southbound lanes crashed, and then rolled over into northbound traffic.
One person was killed (declared dead at the accident scene) and two injured during the rollover car accident. The two injured were taken to area hospitals.
